Our Mission

Here at Dragonfly Meadows we specialize in vintage art prints that feature
unique themes that are rarely seen anymore. Dragonfly Meadows was born
from the idea that others would enjoy having this classic art from a lost
era, ready for framing and display. We have been collecting vintage images
from various sources for years and have fallen in love with restoring these
lost gems to their original beauty. We also have available silhouette style
prints that we think you will find very appealing.

This is our online catalog. Currently available prints are shown. We
regularly add new prints, so be sure to visit often. We are certain you
will find something you just cannot do without.

Our Printing

Dragonfly Meadows prints are printed “in house” on premium heavy weight
coated paper to produce a very high quality print.. Each image has been digitally
cleaned, enhanced and color corrected. Images are taken from original
prints from my personal collection. Each print comes with a clear plastic sleeve
with white card board backing to protect and store the print until it can be framed
or used in other creative endeavors. I strive to make the highest quality copy
possible of a vintage graphic image.

Vintage prints come in many forms. Some of the best artists of the early 20th century
did art and graphic work on Magazine covers and in advertisements. Many wonderful
vintage images were also produced on postcards, sheet music and calendars.
Vintage paper is fragile and subject of wear and tear and deterioration. This comes
naturally with certain paper fibers over the coarse of time. Many vintage paper items
had wood pulp in them that just disintegrates if not stored properly. I have found many
a wonderful and rare print that has been subjected to all of these elements and then some.
These images deserved to be restored to there former beauty to be enjoyed by our
generation now. Using high quality printing and computer graphics to restore these images,
they will hold up and stand the test of time.

Images are printed on high quality premium weight paper. Paper size is 11.5” by 8. Actual
image size can vary according to original print, but I strive to make the image as large it
can go to fit on the 8.5 by11 paper size. Most of the images are about 10”by8”.

We now have many prints available in poster size. They areprinted on 12x18 size paper .
